Junior League of Miami – Nonprofit Intern (paid)
Reports to: President
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
-Perform duties as scheduled, including coverage of Headquarters building, phone, mail, and email.
-Assist JLM volunteers with mailings, communications, major copying jobs, and other administrative needs.
-Process requests for payment from vendor invoices and via submissions from members, for President/EVP approval.
-Enter data into the membership and fundraising databases.
-Work on special projects, as assigned by President and EVP.
-Assist with meeting set-up both at JLM Headquarters and at outside venues.
-Work with Bookkeeper on regular reports needed such as postage, merchandise sales, and other expenses and revenues.

Florida Sun Studios – Freelance Production Assistant
–Florida Sun Studios (FSS) is an independent broadcast studio located in Fort Lauderdale, servicing all the major news networks (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC) for remote guest satellite interviews or “live shots” as they are more commonly known in the industry. We also double as a full service video production studio equipped with a professionally lit green screen set, multiple cameras, and a broadcast control room. In addition to live shots, we also film entire broadcasts for the news networks as well as for clients who hire us for Professional Facebook Live, YouTube Live talk shows, commercials, and other live and taped productions. Our studio is NOT your typical 9-5 operation Monday-Friday operation. FPL Customer Service Rep Position
FIU student employees, ranging from freshmen to seniors, receive vocational training at FPL’s Miami-based customer care center. The Miami-Dade County of Solid Waste Management is seeking a spring intern to work within the Public Information and Outreach Division. This position would focus on educational outreach and communications to the public to promote the importance of proper recycling practices. Graduate Student Internship – Communication Support Specialist: FIU Biscayne Bay Campus
Estimated Duration: 3-month graduate student internship with opportunity to extend longer (Spring 2019)
The Department of Communication within the School of Communication+Journalism is looking for a Communication Specialist graduate student intern to support its Global Strategic Communications master’s program’s marketing and recruitment team. The graduate student intern will receive a $1,000 stipend at the end of the internship.
The role encompasses a variety of projects including:

–SCJ Students, You can intern in Washington, D.C., during the Spring Semester! –The Hispanic Division is working to link our internship programs with goals of the Librarian, Dr. Carla Hayden. We want ensure that all interns have access to the stellar collections and services in many Divisions and Centers at the Library of Congress. Young Leader’s Internship: The Heritage Foundation
The Heritage Foundation’s Summer 2019 Intern Program begins Monday, May 20th and ends Friday, August 9th. During the summer term, Heritage will accept around 70 interns. Interns must work full-time 9am-5:30pm (37.5 hours per week). Applicants must have at least 60 credits or an Associates degree to qualify. Recent college graduates, master’s students, and law students are also encouraged to apply.
