These are very exciting times for our school.  Our national rankings reflect the success of our students, faculty and leadership.

• Alumni have been awarded eight Pulitzer Prizes and many notable awards in advertising and public relations.
• School’s 2008-09 enrollment nearly reached 2,000, of which 82% are minorities.
• Public relations graduate program ranks in the top 10 in the U.S.
• Public relations undergraduate program ranks in the top 25 in the U.S.
• School is rated #1 nationally for awarding undergraduate communication degrees to Hispanics.
• FIU was named the #1 university in the country for Hispanics, according to a survey in Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education.
• The New York Times has designated our school as the site for their Hispanic Student Journalism Institute in collaboration with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists

We continue to teach the innovative and cutting edge technologies that are demanded by the industries and professions that we serve.
